![]() Ian Johnston Ian Johnston of Century 21 Conexus Realty is the new president of the Association of Regina Realtors for 2010. Johnston succeeds past-president Russ Weir. Johnston became a member of the association in 1998 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2007. He was born and raised in Nova Scotia and moved to Saskatchewan in 1974. Prior to becoming a Realtor, he was in the agricultural equipment and automotive services industries in southern Saskatchewan. In the community, Johnston has been a volunteer with the Maple Leafs Lion Club, CNIB and Canadian Council for the Blind. “It is indeed an honour and privilege to become this year’s president,” says Johnston. “It is especially true at this time when our city, many of the communities in which our members do business and the province are experiencing such strong economic growth. I believe we have a great city and province and I am very optimistic about our future.” Others serving on the Board of Directors are: president-elect Lane Boghean; past-president Russ Weir; and directors Stacy Svendsen, Jason Rumpel, Mike Duggleby, Carmen Howells, Basil Pappas and Tim Chicilo.
